Effective helicopter operations mean it is necessary to conserve COST, WEIGHT, and SPACE. The cost, weight and size of life rafts most often prohibits installation on helicopters whose operating specifications do not require their installation.Over-water disasters often occur very near land in areas where operating aircraft do not require life rafts. These areas include; over-water approaches to runways, coastal routes and operations, and areas around rivers and lakes. The ability to get out of the water rapidly, even though very close to land, can mean the difference between life and death. The installation of an ECONOMICAL, LIGHT WEIGHT, COMPACT device provides an emergency flotation platform that will allow survivors to get out of the water immediately. HELP™ kits are easily stored for rapid access on the lightest of helicopters.
THE SOLUTION. INSTALL A HELP™ ON YOUR AIRCRAFT.The HELP™ kit is designed to enable rotary wing aircraft to launch an air-droppable inflatable platform for their own use or in support of the rescue of others in need. The HELP™ Model H6 will provide flotation for up to six survivors and the HELP™ Model H13 will provide flotation for up to 13 survivors. The HELP™ kit greatly enhances the chances for survival by permitting the survivors to get out of the water until they can be picked up.
EASY TO USE. HELP™ Kits are easily inflated by the pilot or crewman. The HELP™ can be launched for air drop and inflated by means of an airdrop lanyard or inflated in the water by pulling a "Pull to Inflate" Handle.
